There are a few actions that will cause your M1 account to initiate a sell:
- Removing a slice from your Pie will cause the security/pie to be liquidated and the proceeds reinvested (regardless of whether auto-invest is turned on/off).
- Rebalancing
- Withdrawing from your account or Liquidating your account
- Submitting a sell order
Making changes to targets in your portfolio alone will not cause your account to trade, so long as the target is not lowered below 1%.
