How much can I contribute to my Traditional IRA?

In 2017 the maximum contribution to all your individual IRAs both Roth and Traditional is $5,500 if you are under 50 1/2 and $6,500 if you are over 50 1/2. There are income limitations on how much of your contribution can get treated as a pre-tax contribution. Check income limitation rules here: IRS Rules
